Water cuts continue from the greater Kinoya to Suva areas with the Water Department trying to identify the problem with its pipes.
Meanwhile, Head teachers and principals of schools along these areas are advised to use their discretion and monitor the situation to decide whether or not schools are to open this morning and for arrangements to be made.

Water cut
Does the government calculate how much productivity is lost through these water cuts. No school, no learning. Government workers going home. If they are still paid. government must be losing around $8 million a day. Every business which is affected by the water cut is losing money and the government is loosing tax revenue. If you are worried about the economy, fix the pipes. Get rid of incompetent person in charge of the water department.
